Francis (Fran) M. Northrop 88  (April 15, 1921 - February 8, 2010) was the loving husband of the late Marjorie I. Northrop (nee Wion); dear father of David (LeeAnn) Northrop, Sr., the late Nila J. Northrop, and the late Cynthia E. Northrop; dear grandfather of David (Gina) Northrop, Jr., Jamin Northrop (Ginger Guevara), Tavia (Steve) Wilson and Nicholas (Heidi) Baybrook; dear great-grandfather of Zachary, Sierra and Leonardo Northrop, Jack and Juleigh Wilson, Braeden and Maddisen Baybrook, Judy and Amy Guevara; dear brother of Loren and the late Vincent Northrop and Erva Boni; dear uncle, cousin and friend. Francis joined the SAR on January 9, 1991.  He was a Charter Member of the Fernando de Leyba Chapter.  He and his wife were residents of St. Charles, MO.  Fran was a resident of Ste. Genevieve, MO at the time of his passing.  He was formerly from Overland and St. Charles County, Missouri.  A graveside funeral service was held on Friday, February 12, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Lebanon Cemetery, 11101 St. Charles Rock Road, St. Ann, Mo.  Family was served by BAUMANN COLONIAL CHAPEL of Overland, MO. (Now Shepard Funeral Chapel - 2016.)
