James (Jim) B. Elliott 82 (July 12, 1918 - June 26, 2001) was the loving husband of Ruth M. Elliott (nee Smith) (November 20, 1926 – July 23, 2007); dear father of James Bruce Elliott Jr. (Judith), John Robert Elliott (Lisa), Karen Jean Krueger (Martin) and the late Patricia Ann Elliott; dear grandfather of Margo Elliott, Robert Elliott, Luke Elliott, Bryan Krueger, Andrew Krueger, Aaron Krueger, Erika Staples and Brooke Staples.  He served as a Private in the U.S. Army during WWII.  James joined the SAR on March 31, 1988.  He was a Charter Member of the Fernando de Leyba Chapter. He has the distinction of being the first deceased member of the Fernando de Leyba Chapter   Jim and his wife were residents of St. Charles, MO.  A service was held for Jim at Baue Funeral Home in St. Charles, MO.  Interment was at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.  Memorials were requested to be sent to the Parkinson's Foundation or to the Fernando De Leyba Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution, preferred.
